With over 100 years of rich heritage and legacy, Sajjan is one of the most trusted names in the chemical industry today.
The companies journey into the chemical world commenced in 1983 with manufacturing of dyes intermediates and textile auxiliaries for the export market. Since then the company has grown from strength to strength.
In 1985, a direct relationship with Hoechst AG was established for supply of Dye Intermediates which further propelled growth and development. In 1997, Sajjan India Limited consolidated its operations in the current site in Ankleshwar (Gujarat). In 2001 we further diversified into manufacturing of Agrochemical Intermediates.
In 2003, we ventured into manufacturing customer patented products under technology transfer agreements. In 2006, a fully automated plant for manufacturing Electronic Chemicals under an evergreen supply agreement was set up. Between 2007 to 2016, 62 CDA’s were signed and 24 products were commercialized. Also, a new fully automated plant for manufacturing Active Ingredients was set up.
